The brand has a practical, money-saving solution for co-ops wishing to rent the CFL Charlie costume. The new inflatable version of the costume is much lighter and more comfortable to wear than the previous version.

Powered by two fans that run on a rechargeable battery, the high-quality costume weighs less and arrives in a much smaller container that can be shipped UPS or Fed Ex, rather than more expensive freight options. The costume rents in five-day increments of $125.

The inflatable costume, as well as the original foam costume, is available for purchase as well. The shipping case—recommended but not required—is available for $498. Foam costumes of CFL Charlie’s friends Wally the Water Heater and Heat Pump Harriet are also available for purchase and rent.
